STRATOCUMULUS
Essentially, a cross between the "fair-weather cumulus" and common stratus, found in the upper ranges of the cloud level. Generally composed of small water droplets, they ofen constitute scattered or broken cover. The air in which stratocummulus forms is usually sufficiently stable so that no precipitation occurs.
