Bearing
A bearing is a connector (usually a support) that permits the connected members to rotate or to move in a straight line relative to one another.. A good bearing must be composed of material that is strong enough to withstand the pressure imposed on it and should permit the other surface to move with a minimum of friction and wear. The three different types of bearings in general use are plain, roller and ball. The direction of a point or navigational aid measured clockwise from a reference through 360°.
